A father’s love never stops shaping the lives of those around him. In this touching interview, Angel Rice shares the journey of finding care for the man she has always called her hero, and the community that brought comfort and peace of mind to her whole family.
Mr. Fix It
Angel describes her dad as the greatest man in the world. He loves his farm animals, including his chickens and goats, and he ran an auto parts business for years. A mechanic at heart, he was always the person you called when something was broken or needed a solution.
From worry to peace of mind
Angel shares that her family went through a sudden and difficult change, and home no longer felt safe or secure for her dad. Today, she says the greatest blessing is that he is comfortable and feels at home, and the family no longer has to worry every day about whether he is safe.
“I’ll be with you every step of the way”
When Angel first called Brookstone Terrace of Chanticleer, she says it felt like reaching an angel on the phone. The team member who answered did not know her yet, but promised to be with her every step of the way, and kept that promise, helping coordinate everything needed to bring her dad home to Chanticleer.
“I’ve never needed to have something addressed that it wasn’t addressed right away and a solution figured out.”
