What do you get when you mix curious animals, fluffy faces and a group of ready-for-fun residents? One unforgettable farm adventure. Residents of Brookstone Terrace of Greensboro headed out to Rainbow Magic Alpaca Farm for a day filled with discovery, laughter and some very special new friends.
The stars of the show
There is no question who stole the spotlight on this trip. As the video puts it, “the stars of the show are the alpacas.” With their long necks, fluffy coats and curious personalities, these gentle animals make it “hard not to smile,” and our residents were all smiles from the moment they arrived.
The outing gave everyone a chance to get up close, learn about these fascinating animals and enjoy the unique experience of feeding and interacting with them. And let’s be honest: when a fluffy face comes over to say hello, it is hard not to fall in love.

More than adorable animals
This outing was about more than the alpacas. It was about getting outdoors, enjoying a change of scenery, sharing new experiences and making memories together. Every visit brings something different, “whether it’s a curious alpaca stopping by, a laugh shared with a friend, or a moment that makes everyone smile.”
Outings like this one are a regular part of life in Greensboro. Residents have saddled up for a day at HORSEPOWER, browsed flowers and honey at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market and explored the aisles at Spirit Halloween. Each trip is a chance to stay connected to the wider community and to try something new.
The best adventures don’t have to take you far from home. Sometimes all you need is a little fresh air, good company, and a few furry friends.
